Resurrection﹣Art Exhibition by Frankie Si Meng Kuan

自小生活在澳門這個小小的城市，每當有機會跑到外地，總會欣賞一下不同的植物，大自然生態不斷的給我無限的驚喜。然而回到這個小城，隨著社會城市化的急速發展，我們僅有的樹木山森正逐漸的消失。

我在2013-2014年間收集了本澳數十種不同樹木的落葉，利用這些落葉創作了超過百隻的陶瓷碗和碟，這些碗和碟把原要消逝的生命得以延續，這是澳門植物的一個印記、生命的轉移，祇願她們不會成為永遠的回憶⋯⋯

I have lived in little Macao since childhood. Whenever I travel away from my home city, I like to see different types of plants. The nature is a wonder. I feel sorrow to find the disappearance of the woodland amidst Macao’s rapid urbanization.

Between 2013 and 2014, I collected falling leaves from dozens of different types of plants to produce over 100 pieces of ceramic bowls and plates. Through the pottery, the lives of the leaves can be extended. The exhibition is a record of Macao’s plants. I wish their resurrection would not leave them in memory forever.
